DID YOU KNOW that making art with collage and found objects (mixed media) is a great way to get creative for anyone’s level of experience. Many newcomers to art believe they must start with drawing and painting. NOT SO! Beginning with collage (2D or 3D) you’re guaranteed success because:
- There’s no exact right or wrong way to do it
- It’s a great way to practice things like design principles and art elements
- You will overcome your fears of experimenting
- You can become immersed in your creativity without the fear of ruining your project
